Hey nerds 😎

I'm fundraising for my incredibly cool femme/queer electronics camp that's holding on by bloodied teeth this year. Find it in my bio and thread below.

BUT ALSO we take supplies. Specific tools, electronics, supplies. List in replies.

"One of the penalties of an ecological education is that one lives alone in a world of wounds. Much of the damage inflicted on the land is quite visible to laymen. An ecologist must either harden his shell and make believe that the consequences of science are none of his business, or he must be the doctor who sees the marks of death in a community that believes itself well and does not want to be told otherwise" quote by Aldo Leopold

Jeremy Hansen's patch for the Artemis II mission CSA astronaut Jeremy Hansen's patch was created for his participation in the Artemis II mission by Anishinaabe artist Henry Guimond. It includes personal and Indigenous elements important to Jeremy.

Astronaut Jeremy Hansen is taking Indigenous culture past the Moon: his mission patch was designed by Henry Guimond, an Anishinaabe artist, incorporating one Indigenous perspective about the seven sacred laws, which are represented by animals.

Reposting my Transgender symbol stylized like Garou glyphs I made for #TVOD 2021. See ALT text for more info.

The Transgender symbol composed out of Werewolf: The Apocalypse glyphs. The main body of the shape is black, outlined in a gradient of the colors of the Transgender pride flag: blue, pink, white, pink, blue.

The symbol is more of a direct visual stylization rather than 'translating' the concepts into Glyph-speak like I would normally do, because I wanted them to be visually recognizable to people other than glyph nerds.

The glyph elements used are [Luna], [Gaia], [Claw], [Resilient emphatic], which were intentional design choices, but the symbol is not intended to be "read" like a typical glyph beyond that. i.e., the masculine symbol lacking [Gaia], or the feminine symbol lacking [Resilient] are not commentary; it's purely to mirror how the actual Transgender symbol appears <3

There were a few shapes I could have chosen for the circle, but Luna is perfect. Luna is always who she truly is, no matter how she may present herself, no matter how anyone else sees her or casts a shadow over her. Hidden or bright, she exists.

"The literal glyphs are [cubs], [observant/watch], [create/creator/author/artist], [glyphery]* a custom glyph composed of [story/claws/put together/gibbous moon], [wisdom] with a [claw] mark over it, and [Rite of Passage] with a [claw] mark over it." (I forgot to add this part to the alt text here)

The "If Those Kids Could Read They'd Be Very Upset" King of the Hill meme. In this version, Bobby Hill is holding up a sign that has Garou glyphs that could be roughly translated as "cubs must learn to read and write glyphs; if they DON'T learn, they will NOT get out of the den".

I'm 395,992 words into a collaborative story that follows an elder werewolf who emerges from the spirit world 15 years forward, which will probably never breach containment.

My name is Sahoni and while I wait for my tablet to be fixed so I can art up a games anthology, I'm working on a gothy-punk witch game that plays towards the strength of AP's by being very pro-improv. Namely it's safety rules.

I'm Mundus, and I've been working on Werewolf: the Essentials. Proofreading recently completed and this week I've been copy editing text over to Affinity for Book One: Cliath.

As things get moved one section at a time, stuff is being cut, reworded, or expanded to visually fit the page.

Thank you! It was a lot of fun to work on, especially after I was able to see him in action through your roleplay on the show and see some of the more implicit elements I could double entendre into it. :3

An animated gif of the glyphname for Entwines-Smiles-with-Claws, showing the individual elements that were combined to tell the story and bring the shapes together.

Entwines-Smiles-with-Claws

'Claw' and 'Rage' + 'Put together/join/build' to entwine them beneath a smile of 'Friend/ally' + 'Children of Gaia' emphatics that typically denote people or many, or in this case, an abundance of smiles + 'Gaia' inverted into an 'Umbra' reflection to imply double meanings to the smile, teeth bared in threat as well as friendship + 'blood/heart' emphatic of grinning and bearing it through violence and heartache + 'Create/creator' for the 'I am' denoting a name or self

Homid Ahroun Child of Gaia.

This glyphname was a commission made for Nicholas Walker of St Pete by Night's Rage Across Tampa

"He puts on the face of unicorn (unity, cooperation, acceptance, healing, etc.) while keeping that blistering Garou seething just below the surface. And, as an Ahroun, he needs to command that Black Unicorn flair more often than his other Children of Gaia allies, so he'll smile wide when making a rapport or tearing faces. Hence the deed name: Entwines-Smiles-with-Claws."
