SN1 if you have it. Pretty deep in their channel order.

It’s on Sportsnet…

I hear you, but how much of the 30 is spent just trying to bang off some of the rust? A change or two at halftime seemed to be in order.

Last night was so frustrating, on so many levels. In a sea of things that irk, what I have settled on is the guys you are bringing on the try and salvage something, your pacey skill guys, (who are very rusty), get 17 minutes plus added time. What are they meant to do with that? DCL needs help. #lufc

Man, I like our team. Very good first half. #lufc

We quite liked it. I remember reading an article that said 4 is the magic number of episodes to watch before deciding whether or not to give up on a series.

The 2-3 minutes after we score to take the lead are routinely terrifying! This is a fun game. #lufc

I think 2-3 would have been about right there. If Aaronson’s shot isn’t cleared off the line and Bogle scores at the back post…give them the header off the bar. I do feel for Willy; not sure what he’s meant to do in 8 or 9 minutes. That was a fun game. #lufc

You know, this week I’ve been trying not to take Amps for granted. He’s going to grind for the full 90 unless there’s a very specific tactical switch required, as on Saturday. And even then, he was so invested from the bench, shouting out help in the last few minutes. He was great v. Chelsea.

I’ve got to tell you, as a Canadian Leeds supporter, this is a real conflict. He clearly wasn’t the right person to follow Mr. Bielsa, but I really want Canada to be successful next summer.

I was really hoping for Elliott. Solid player, and he handled the Pascal/injury issue with tremendous character.

Aaronson works incredibly hard off the ball, but he and Bogle are massively struggling to develop any chemistry down the right side. Bogle misses having someone there who anticipates what he wants to do, and he’s gone quiet lately as a result. #lufc

I agree. I thought KD gave the boss just enough of a reason to make the switch back if he’s so inclined. Nothing remotely egregious, just opened the door.

Perri for you, or no?

I really hoped it would happen at the time, and I hadn’t even properly seen his sides play. He seems to really be able to make players better.

What I guess we were hoping Paixao would be, though I’m not sure if he’s played yet in France.

#lufc We might see a one-named Brazilian off the bench today. “Ronaldo, Rivaldo?” Nope, “Kevin”. How bad can that be? Well, pretty bad as it turns out.

Ned Ryerson????

As a Canadian who also loves Leeds, I still have to root for him to do well.

I’m a Canadian with 3 footy mad friends. 6 years ago, they told me to pick a team. I said, ok, Leeds it is. No oil money, Bielsa…I’ll give it a go. Now I fall asleep/work out/cut grass to TSB and IER. I paid for games on LUTV when I had to. MOT is framed in my basement. I’m in with both feet…

We’re in Ontario. Your brother lives in a beautiful part of the world.

I pay so I can keep up with things from Canada, but if Graham left, I’d be hard pressed to keep up.

The legends who fed the @thesquareball.net charity walkers this summer have had their van nicked from outside their house. Keep your eyes out please, it's incredibly distinctive and obviously means the world to them.

Share far and wide too.

I do think MB is one of the rare coaches who can take players already at this level and teach them skills to become better offensively. More than just tactics…

7 months ago 1 0 1 0

It seems terribly negligent. DF will have to try his best to coach them up, but how many MBs are out there who know how to make already professional footballers technically better? I imagine that’s a big part of why Patrick Bamford called Bielsa the best manager he’s played for ‘by a mile’.

I posted about that yesterday, and I’m watching from Canada!😂

Solid point going into the break. I think the real winners today were the good people at Burflex Scaffolding. #lufc

Very deferential. So different than that first game at Liverpool under MB. Lots to learn from. #lufc

International feed in Canada is Martin Tyler and Bridgey. Vastly preferable. #lufc
