She leaned back in her chair, thinking for a moment. “It’s possible any could be, but most of them show no signs. There was one, but she ended up dead the same way as the first.”

I'm not going to be very active on any account today. I'm having a horrible time. It's been four months, but its still there, and I'm angry. I'm going to sit outside.

Neve moved through the streets of Treviso as she searched for Illario. Lucanis proved to be far too busy to help with her case, and she’d sent a letter asking Illario for help deciphering a blood splatter. She knew he was far more likely to find her than she him, ++

Illario it is then! I’ll head to Antiva after I get some coffee. Do you want to come? We could go to that cafe Lucanis likes so much.

There's this killer in Dock Town--I know, so shocking--and I can't quite figure out the murder weapon. I may have Illario or Lucanis check out the tracing of the blood splatter, and see if they might have any ideas.

Neve was sitting at her desk, pouring over her notes with a half-full pot of luke-warm coffee to her left. She hummed pensively as she wrote down a reminder and sighed heavily.

She looked genuinely stunned, eyes widening as she shifted her weight onto her good leg. "Thank Andraste for those two. When did this happen, Bel?"

"Who's getting kidnapped?" Neve asked as she moved toward Bellara. She examined the new defenses, and with an impressed sound, she turned back to Bellara and offered her a warm smile.

I need coffee. Badly.

"Neve, if you didn't want to be a detective when you were young, what did you want?"

"Honestly? I didn't know. And I hated that."
