Second review in 2 days for me! Check this one out for sure, The Way Up is Death by Dan Hanks.
An incredibly thought provoking book, very big Stephen King vibes but with a much more current voice giving them. Really loved it, and it’ll go down as a top tier sci-fi for me!

It was a well thought out, hopefully not prophetic look at America's future, but also gave enough to the reader to connect with emotionally, thanks to strong characters and cool twists along the way.

An amazing debut, full of great banter, fast paced action, and a grounded story that also left us with a perfect way to lead into Book 2.

Just finished up this one, and I can safely say; masterpiece. One of the best books I’ve read in years, a beautifully written, compelling work of art. I knew before getting it I wanted it to be good but I wasn’t expecting a top tier ever. BRAVO @inknest.bsky.social !
