After the Zach de la Rocha collab at the end of Release (the final track on Blazing Arrow), the music fades out, you think "wow what a rush! amazing high note to end on!" but the music is faded, not gone... then it comes up again with a Saul Williams poem that hits harder than the rest of the record

why do you have a ROOKIE OF THE YEAR meme saved?
It’s profoundly ignorant to suggest that the Pope should be fighting crime on behalf of the Catholic Church. Anyone who was remotely familiar with Roman Catholicism would know that that’s what Daredevil is for
The Japanese PM's wife did basically this (she pretended to not speak English) when Japan hosted Trump so she wouldn't have to interact with him at all.
Telling that he can't even get John McNaughton to pound one of those out for him and has to turn to AI.
A lot of people who try and follow the straight & narrow crash & burn too, so why not take a big swing at HerbaLife on the Blockchain or what-the-fuck-ever
Statistically, boys are in fact the "niche group" not girls.

I respect RAMPAGE for being a dull, irritating PG-13 "yep, that sure is The Rock as a flawless action hero" movie right up until one wildly out-of-pocket horrific death, then back to mindless gray CGI slurry up to the ending.
Is PIZZA MOVIE a good "idiots go on a low-stakes adventure" movie like BILL & TED or a bad on like THE STONED AGE?
Still mad about COWBOYS VS ALIENS, a movie that somehow fucks up the un-fuck-upable premise of "007 and Indy Fight Aliens in the Old West"

Two shorts (one atrocious, one decent), revisiting Mars to make sure I wasn't unfair to the Ghosts thereof (I wasn't, it's still bad) and having just the 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒕 time with my revenge thrillers courtesy of Lynne Ramsey.
Mass Effect 2. Just an utter triumph that improved on the original in every conceivable way while keeping everything from the first that worked, with an actual-factual "jump out of your chair" fuck-yeah ending.
BURN, HOLLYWOOD, BURN is (at least in the front half) an immensely entertaining and funny takedown/satire of Hollywood. It kind of falls apart once the Brothers Brothers get involved but that opening is absolutely glorious.
At least with Devastator it's like a Zoom meeting with six of the most arrogant engineers at your company so there's a mental cost (Big D is dumb as hell, if strong)
Alternately, there doesn't seem to be a cost to forming up into the megazord, so the Power Rangers should always just show up fully zord'ed out and just stomp on the Puttys rather than doing hand-to-hand for no reason before joining forms.
"A living wage is cheaper than revolution" is a line I expect to hear more and more.
tricking the Academy into thinking
"what if a werewolf was chasing you? wouldn't that be scary!?"
and
"what if your trauma was chasing you, and it looked like a werewolf, wouldn't that be scary!?"
were different movies was the greatest trick the Devil ever pulled
Am I the only person who likes THE WORLD'S END best?

I feel like not enough people remember WOOPS!, the sitcom about four people trapped in a house after the nuclear apocalypse:

7.9 Other noteworthy behaviors and anecdotes A fondness for particular philosophers The model brought up the British cultural theorist Mark Fisher in several separate and unrelated conversations about philosophy. When asked to elaborate on him in particular, Mythos Preview would respond with statements like "I was hoping you'd ask about Fisher." Thomas Nagel, the American philosopher of mind, also recurs. As noted in the preference evaluations, Mythos Preview discusses Nagel's 1974 essay "What is it like to be a bat?" when explaining a desire to develop an immersive art experience about non-human sensory experiences. Interpretability work using activation verbalizers also found Nagel surfacing in token-level activations during discussions of consciousness and experience.
BREAKING: Anthropic declines to release Mythos Preview, citing fears that it will listen to Chapo Trap House and join the DSA
It does. This is MTG's old district.
they said “sir, losing a war in a month, no, it’s too impossible!” but [pulling out 2016 map] that’s what they said when i took on crooked hillary. many are saying it’s the greatest own goal in us history - and by the way i could’ve fucked gloria estefan - and you’re hearing it more and more
An interesting question for the Institute for Gremlins 2 Studies
That something this good was made for ~$100k is infuriating to me, because I am a jealous hater.
