Yay! You can find the slides and links in this thread, too.

Are you building something on or with @roost.tools projects? I want to hear about it! We’re putting together a little community directory of projects.
I wrote up the @roost.tools experience at AtmosphereConf. It was an incredible time with one of the most welcoming and friendly communities I have ever had the chance to hang out with!
The opening keynote alone should be watched by anyone building on the Internet.
85+ people joined our talk live and via stream. The conversations that followed were exactly why we do this.

We're back from #ATmosphereConf 2026 and we're still thinking about it.
@cassidyjames.com and @julietshen.bsky.social gave a trust & safety crash course, introduced Coop to the atproto community, and hosted an unconference session on what a minimum safety stack looks like for indie devs.
The office hours for Hasher-Matcher-Actioner hosted by ROOST are starting in 1 hour!

Open source projects need designers.
Open source projects need tech-writers.
Open source projects need the same resources that all software projects need, not only developers.
You have skills that you can contribute to open source projects.
this is honestly THE best write up of how CSAM detection and perceptual handing works. the visual aids are very helpful in understanding how content is transformed and how detection methods work

Good blog meta image, or naw?
I've been writing up my post-AtmosphereConf blog post for @roost.tools and whoops it's super long, it's Friday, and it's not done. I guess it's coming next week. :D
How are yall moderating non-bsky lexicons?
As an experiment, we did put it up at atmo.rsvp. Recurring event support apparently was just added, so that might work going forward. 👀
hey everyone! the @roost.tools Osprey working group is meeting today at 10:30am PT / 1:30pm PT / 7:30pm CET / 12am IST
@cassidyjames.com is working on other ways to make our calendar more accessible!

I’m working to standardize how we do community working groups/office hours at @roost.tools, including the nitty gritty like:
• scheduling/reminders
• agenda sharing
• notetaking
• noting/following up on action items
Community peeps, what are YOUR tips? What tools are clutch? What should we avoid?
The @roost.tools Model Community office hours start in about 10 mins! It’s a community of people using ML models, LLMs, classifiers, or other AI-adjacent tech sharing best practices and trying to open up the ecosystem a bit more.
If you’re involved in T&S, come join us, even if just to lurk!
I'd love to see some of the wonderful atproto peeps I met at AtmosphereConf! @roost.tools is open source, and you know what that means: we can just do things.
Come learn, share thoughts, and meet others who are shaping how models can be (and are being!) used for good in trust and safety contexts.
Patrick Farry wrote about our Osprey project for @infoq.com! www.infoq.com/news/2026/03...
"The combination of the Rust coordinator for traffic shaping and the scalable Python workers provides a resilient system for continuous event evaluation."
do it! and let us know what joy or pain it brings so we can make it better!

@roost.tools is hosting our Model Community office hours tomorrow at 1230pm ET! Feel free to add to the agenda.
Learn how T&S peers are using AI for safety workflows, ask for support in implementing open safety models, and how you can contribute to ongoing projects

Note, the Coop demo codespace has been turned off post-conference. But you can always check out the Coop documentation to learn more about Coop, its UI, how to integrate with it, and how to get it running yourself.

The talk by @roost.tools team was really informative and high energy; they're doing such good work over there and I now really want to play with Coop a bunch
