Right! And then AFTER you have your suspect from examining prose, THEN you try to prove your case. No jury would have convicted on the style analysis alone.
Never mind the traps! If you don’t shuffle then you’ll never see an answer in a straight horizontal line. That’s useful extra information!

If so you fell into Wyna's "Toms" trap: Collins (blue), Cruise (purple), Jones (green), Petty (yellow).
But my question is: Why in that case is the result shown in YPGB order?
Somehow when the audience doesn't need to suspend its disbelief (obviously Wally Shawn isn't Elaine, we never believe he is) then we can immerse ourselves even more in the play as a text, if that makes sense.
It's a beautifully *written* play. What you have is two of the characters reading a script they know extremely well, and they're both great actors. (DE in particular was a revelation.) But they weren't *pretending to be* the characters. So it becomes more storytelling, less acting.
ok that was VERY special and wonderful and I’m so happy I lucked into seeing it
Wait it gets better
Well this is going to be interesting!
Back of the envelope, there were 85m adult men in the US in 1985. Let’s say adult men were 100% of Playboy readers and accounted for 75% of wine purchases. That gets us to 13% of wine sales right there. If they’re 50% more Dionysian than the general population, it pencils out.

Even in Detroit, the latest sunrise would be 9am.
The latest sunrise in NYC is 7:20am. Push that back an hour and you’re still nowhere near 10am.

Fun fact: Close-up magic has never been more popular than it is right now. Here’s why www.bloomberg.com/news/feature...
As @emilypeck.bsky.social reminds me, I've been working on this piece for over 20 years. I like the way it came out! www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
They’re the deadliest animal in America!
Gloriously concise and on-point summary from Walt and Kira. Really helps explain why people like @vandehei.bsky.social get so excited about Claude Code and why 99% of the rest of us do not. www.bloomberg.com/news/newslet...
And then I guess the government has to tender 25% of the shares repurchased in any buyback? That’s how shares become public revenue?
I have to admit this chart surprises me, it's holdings of bitcoin ETFs in bitcoin. I would have expected the recent selling to show up here and it doesn't seem to have done so. dune.com/hildobby/btc...
Household net worth is mostly home equity, right? With a broad index fund on top?
either!
Hive mind: Is the Washington Post in a better or a worse position today than in the alternative universe where the Grahams never sold it?
It’s related to the “college admissions is infinitely harder than it used to be, even bright kids can’t get in anywhere” meme, which is just statistically false, most colleges are desperate for students
