Came across this earlier. Threatening to kill whether you pull the trigger or not does more damage long therm than doing nothing at all. The world had a gun to our collective head. The trigger wasn’t pulled, but the damage is done; doesn’t matter what #USpoli does now, they missed their chance.
There is much more than meets the eye with this “cease fire”. #admin47 is still trying to spin that Trump backed down, (and adults took over) into some sort of less shameful form of capitulation.

The only people whose strategic interests have improved are Russia, China and Iran. I think the US political system needs an overhaul yes, but you also need to remove corporate money from the political stream.

Probably worth posting this here. The best description I’ve found to date to explain what the “problem” with people of colour is. It’s just a bunch of racist white people who can’t stand being a global minority, and’ll do almost anything when they can do it anonymously.
