The Oilers are now 2-7 in games that end 3-3 after regulation. They're 5-1 in other OT/SO games.

As an Oilers fan, I'm okay with all these Olympic snubs. These guys have played a lot of hockey the past two seasons. A break should do them good. But as competitive athletes I'd expect those that truly felt snubbed to have a little extra motivation for the rest of the season.
