I've been doing coworking streams throughout my PhD, but will be doing a LOT over March as I finish writing my thesis ready for my 31st deadline!!

if you would benefit from body doubling spaces, or are just curious about how livestreaming can be a productive community space, feel free to come by!

today while working on one of my PhD chapters, my cat Pepper stepped on my keyboard and pressed CTRL+A to select all, then deleted the entire document. I'm taking this as a sign that my writing needs improvements 😂

Using easy read formats in geography This Leaflet is in Easy Read.

My new paper has just been published! An easy-read formatted paper that encourages and asks questions about who we assume 'belongs' in #Geography (and academia more broadly)! Have you used easy-read before? I'd love to hear from others exploring inclusive research!

just blurted out in class "yes, you have to cite where you got your info. in a world in which lying loudly is the only thing that seems to get rewarded, citing your sources is an act of resistance" and folks, I really believe that.

a photo of three brown and orange tortoiseshell cats sat on the corner of a desk in a row. Pepper on the left is a fluffy cat with a light brown side and a dark face looking to the right. In the middle is Jodie, a fluffy cat with a darker face with light spots above her eyes and next to her mouth, looking directly at the camera. Moose sits on the right, a shorter haired cat with a lighter face, looking away from the camera with slightly closed eyes

is #AcademicsWithCats still a thing? regardless I love to share pictures of my three tortie girls! 😻

Jodie (middle) is the mum of Pepper (left) & Moose (right) - a whole family of angry girls taking up my desk definitely helps with thesis writing!! 💕
