I haven't seen any worldwide numbers but the film made 7 million this weekend. But yeah, that would certainly be another way they might squeeze more out of this very obvious fraud and graft. (Allegedly)

I read multiple headlines saying that the "Melania" doc is a hit. Which, yes, a 7 million dollar opening for a documentary is not bad for a documentary. BUT most documentaries don't cost the distributor more than $70 million dollars. So, 'hit' is more than a bit subjective here.

So we are expected to believe that a company paid $40 million dollars for a documentary film and that it's NOT a money laundering scheme? (Allegedly) We're watching in real time Jeff Bezos give The Trumps 40 million dollars while pretending to release a movie. (Allegedly) #Melania
