I think it could actually work here - AI writing bullshits in a specific shallow way that is still possible to spot and if you as an author are fooled by it, you deserve the ERC ban that is coming to you .))

yeah, that is pretty harsh, I somehow thought only getting a C score leads to resubmission restriction... but being banned for two years for not getting an A?

is it this Oster and is it maybe about this issue: economics.stackexchange.com/questions/41... ? I do not remember details, but I have a feeling there was no foul play... but I might be mistaken
Psychologists unhappy with the American Psychological Association split off and created to Association for Psychological Science in 1988 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Associa... This was very healthy for our discipline. Seems to me a similar split would be healthy for Sociology as well. @philipncohen.com

sadly, headlines are routinely generated (and even A/B tested) for engagement, often with complete disregad for the content of the article... I believe it should be considered unethical by any self-respecting journalist, but everyone just seems to accept it
🎉 Our 1st @erc.europa.eu #MICROCODE article is out! Using a cross-national survey experiment,

Direction of effect and success of publcation: a randomized study has really been done already!
Thanks to @floriannaudet.bsky.social for pointing it out
