I heard a great interview with him a few years back. It was funny to hear him tell that comics at IPC were rolling in money in the 1970s and he was living the high life. Rare enough to hear that kind of thing in the industry that you couldn't help enjoy it.

Excellent SFA inspired title too.

Sure, definitely a factor but it's still some spin to claim a crowd half as big was a record. They've sold out CAP a few times for non England games so I think 10k v Scotland was pretty poor in a game rapidly growing fans.

It also wasn't a record crowd, they got 21,000 last year at the Principality. Maybe a record specifically for a game v Scotland but that's a big spin on a net reduction in your highest crowd of the year.

I saw Prince in Wembley Arena in 1990. He was stood on top of a grand piano playing Nothing Compares 2 U on guitar. The guitar mic failed so he threw it, leapt off the piano landing in a splits, did a pirrouhette to the piano stool and carried on the song on the keyboard. Nobody else.

'Vital footage' re-release will also put them back to the number 1 all time box office over Avatar. Not that I think they'd ever be so cynical.

Yes but equally Ian Brown is very shit. I've seen him bottled of stage by a bunch of dedicated Stone Roses fans. ๐Ÿ˜‚

It's hard to really keep up as it's developing so quickly. France should, by the logic, beat England and smash everyone else for the next 10 years. I don't think that's how it'll work out.

I truly love this brilliant song but it's also true Ian Brown is the worst live singer I have ever seen. There could have been a plan for George Michael to sing his songs instead but he went and died on us. Sad.

The French women at youth level are insane. Wales beat England a week or so back at under 18, the French girls were on another level, destroyed Ireland.

I stopped using Facebook 5 years ago but have to maintain an account because most businesses here use it instead of having websites. Logged on in the pub last week to show some friends how bad it was. In the first 20 posts only 2 were from friends I knew. Rest was ads and slop.

"Powder dry, keeping the secret gameplan back", I can say after a long time watching rugby is never true. Ireland men in 2019 were obsessed with this idea. They were very good as they were last week, could have been better. Would have scored 60 if they could, they couldn't. It wasn't a psi-op.

It is really how her name is pronounced but spelt Cokayne.

Watching the USA v Australia game and the ref says no more penalties in the 22 or a yellow card. Aussie captain just repeats the ref's hand signal (arms spread horizontally in a 'stop' fashion) to her team. Maybe we could make that a feature rather then waste time with 'can I talk to my team?'.

I wonder if they asked him to expand on how sperm samples matching his DNA was 'a misunderstanding'?

I live in Malaysia which has done this for staples like rice, sugar, cooking oil for decades and it kinda works? Maybe sugar is not the wisest thing to apply it to but the economy hasn't collapsed, supermarkets are still opened by multinationals and doing well.

I don't understand his argument. He seems to be blaming World Rugby for they weakness of the test teams they play. ABs are still a draw, pretty sure every country would accept a match with them instead of Australia again if they asked.

Very true. The BBC shows random repeats of its weekly chart show Top of the Pops which ran from the 1960s to mid 2000s. It gives a good window into what a mixed bag every era was.

Don't worry, they'll appoint a temporary one in 18 months time.

Honestly they can't. There is only one private school in Wales with a decent rugby programme, Llandovery College. They can't emulate what happens in England, the schools just don't exist.

I listened to a podcast yesterday that said their fund for overseas propaganda was over $1.5bn. That's a lot of money for a small country (a big chunk sent from Moscow I'd guess).

Yup he's been out for over a year, just played his first game in ages last week.

Is Dupont having a big dip? He's an incredible talent but he had a stinker against Scotland in the 6N and his sevens stint seems to have resulted in him often running backwards and losing gainline.

Thank the heavens he's ineligible for England.

It is pretty crazy that they started a conflict without telling allies and then expecting them to just pitch in. Imagine if France attacked Myanmar without notice (also a terrible regime like Iran) and then chastised the US for not having their F-15s ready to join in.

Good from Carley pressing the HIA issue. It's raised often in analysis when players take head contact and a card is issued but play on. Not often enough raised on the field.

Someone really needs to send these people on an exploratory trip to Currys to learn how cheap TVs are now and how they stopped making any other kind of screen a long time ago.

One step at a time, we had good forwards and nothing else, now we have good forwards and good defence. Add in some back play and we could be genuinely good.

We have another one at under 18.
