US private equity has its hands in healthcare here too - the small private hospital near my house is owned by one of those companies. Obviously we’re not as bad as US but scary to think those companies have an “in” here at all
It’s the main way I get healthcare now. It’s not always easy to get it here in Australia but so far I don’t think they’d dare remove it, people use it too much!

I was given a list of recommended Facebook groups and wow so many say “high vibes only” or “no complaints” which to me screams “disabled people won’t be welcome to talk about realities of life”.
Didn’t bother with those groups!
