As we near the halfway point of #INC5 talks, strong support for a #PlasticsTreaty is clear.
At this evening's press conference I told media that I understand frustrations at the slow pace.
We need all members and participants to focus on striking a deal. Now is the time to move and make it happen.

Humanity faces a triple planetary crisis: climate change, biodiversity loss, & pollution. Sometimes, it’s hard not to lose hope. UNEP is all about visionary blue-sky thinking for Earth & now we are on BlueSky, sharing ideas, solutions, & voices from the people most affected by environmental change.
