This April has been Migraine Month.

30F one day, 80F the next, then 45F with thunderstorms... 😭

Song on the radio was interrupted by the emergency alert system blast. As it played time slowed and I waited for the regular "This was just a test..." message to play.

Well, no message played. It went back to the song. So I flipped stations and everything else was normal.

Hate this timeline.

ICE detained more than 70 Minnesota children, data reveals Immigration officials detained more than 70 Minnesota children between Dec. 1 and March 10, a Sahan analysis of court records and federal deportation data shows.

This was never about the worst of the worst.

We have continually demanded answers about how many of our children were taken into federal detention. Trump’s DHS has continually refused to give us information.

This parent did the right thing, but because other parents did not, her daughter is dead. Vaccinate your kids, people.

I love pistachios but I'll be damned if I'm ever buying anything called Dubai chocolate. Cannot express how much this branding grates.

That said I can’t help but feel kind of disgusted that the media and wider urgency goes down when white people are no longer being victimized as openly.

Brown people dying in concentration camps just doesn’t do the trick, I guess.

With the help of the Sandy Hook families, The Onion has reached a long-awaited deal to take over InfoWars.

We've enlisted the help of @timheidecker.bsky.social, who will be InfoWars' Creative Director.

Please stand by for more.

I mean, this is the baseline ethics and morality that SHOULD be at the forefront of an institution that prides itself on 2,000 of deep contemplation.

This is about as terrifying as it gets when it comes to flying umbrellas. This is exactly how people end up impaled. While this incident happened in a stadium, it is much more common to see this happen on a beach. Buy a beach umbrella that meets new anchor safety standards this summer.

I respected them all as artists already but I was blown away by what was created when Gary Larson and Pink Floyd teamed up for Far Side of the Moon.

And it feels so weird to condense it down into the word "tour" one is actually a mass ritual.

Felt exactly the same way! This is my first time seeing her and I can't imagine a more moving and powerful tour to have brought my daughter to ❀️‍πŸ”₯

Squeezing in some DFL work this weekend to try to get ahead of things - trying to get educational content prepped so I can keep this train going even when I get busy.

Wish me luck and send me house brownies to help out!

What makes me pretty in this photo is I just finished a day of performing at Fest and I'm glowing with joy. Also sweat, but mostly joy πŸ₯°

I also didn't interfere with her choice! When she got there to sign up for classes, she realized that most of her high school electives were for history, and she's been planning to volunteer at the local history museum for the summer. Also, she longingly dreams of cataloging dusty old things πŸ˜‚

Took oldest to new student orientation at the @umnmorris.bsky.social campus yesterday!

She signed up for classes and, after finally tuning out all outside pressure and expectations, she declared a history major!

Lord knows we need more people who know where we've been to inform where we're going.
