That new Mario movie is... fine, I guess. Nothing special, though I'll admit that scene where Nox Decious showed up to reveal he was behind it all and began a twenty minute lightsaber duel with Mario (whom we all know is a descendant of Merlin) was pretty sick, though.
No doors yet, which means the pathfinding will eventually break horribly once the walls are fully constructed. Eventually my goal is to add a sleep mechanic with beds needing to be placed in houses, as well as an overhaul of how the banking system works.
Starting off small, over the past week or so I added a basic house builder script to Age of Clicking. The player sets placeholder tiles for the walls, and when you hit confirm it auto-generates the walls and floors.
I've been meaning to try and force myself to work on my projects a bit more proactively, so to help with that I'd like to try and make regular progress updates on here.

As a certified classic Sonic sicko I feel like they've gotten a lot better at 2D gameplay since Gens. Like, say what you will about Superstars as an overall game but IMO it controls way better than most of their 2D attempts in recent years. Feels almost 1:1 with the Genesis games to me.
I need to give Deadlocked a proper look one of these days. I loved the main three PS2 games as a kid but bounced off of Deadlocked pretty hard for whatever reason.

When I went to MAGFest for the first time I was physically and mentally wiped out after a single day, not to mention all the anxiety and stress I felt for what was essentially my first big solo vacation. Next time though I'm gonna make sure it goes better.
Seeing how much fun everyone had at GDQ and MAGFest this year makes me really want to do everything in my power to make it to at least something this/next year. Everyone's been having a great time and I want in.
