There’s always a compromise in these things, but you cannot put a price on your health, and we’re not getting any younger - we should be enjoying ourselves, not overdoing it! The closer I get to retirement, and I’ve a way to go, the more I am looking forward to it!

I cannot complain. Good food, a break from work and time to walk and unwind with the pooch after a stressful few weeks has been just what I needed 😊
I’m having the worst dread about going back to study/work, but I’m trying to keep that away for another two days!

Late nights and long weekends can be draining, but you either use it or lose it!

Well it must have implanted some seed in there. I finished school, did 6 years at college part time which I similarly didn’t enjoy, but then in my 40s I went to university which I loved, and now in my 50s I’ve gone back again to do my masters.

I guess you’d say I’m a late developer!!

The fear…I used to hate it, more than anything. But now, I’d be back there in a heartbeat!
