It's Eric. Flat Eric is a character associated with Levi's commercials from 1999. He is a large yellow puppet like character with large gangly arms, gangly legs and a beanish shaped orange torso. His head is a yellow ball with a white piece taking a flat shape over the lower half. Flat Eric is sat on a wooden ladder in a house.
I think I'm a bit mad in the head for clocking it instantly <3
I already own most of these games digitally but I'd snag up physicals in a heartbeat if it wasn't so limited. I hope somebody who's only dabbled in one or two (or hopefully none!) of these games can pick it up. They'll be in for an incredible time.

Anyway here's my reaction at the exact moment I discovered this.
Gulliver is a point and laugh at how poor it is type of attraction now, but there was a lot beyond him that was genuinely so incredibly poor. There were a lot of nice staff but honestly a lot of quite rude people overwhelmed the team which was the biggest downer.
At least the fish were alright.
This was either a younger person working there who thought "It'd be well funny to get an image of him T-Posing" or someone who just didn't care because LAST YEAR THERE WAS AN ACTUAL PLUSH!!! WHERE DID HE GO???
Also an official Nintendo endorsed event like this using an image from TSR is cold.
I went to the Animal Crossing event at the Sea Life centre today and it kinda sucked honestly.
They replaced last year's Gulliver plush with his thumbnail image on the Models Resource.
Bloody hell.
