Ash, do you know of a decent YouTube source or something I can watch to try and get some news on this? It’s hard to watch mainstream media at the moment as it’s all been buried, but I want to find an update!

Yep. And I’d like it if someone could actually investigate this, because it’s a little bit strange.

But Mandelson…!
(At least, this is all we will hear from the media…) 😏

Funny how the press launch such massive attacks on him, just when he was starting to go up in the opinion polls though.

No, they need to rally around the PM we have. If Starmer goes, his successor will be treated in exactly the same way until they call an early election. We all know why.

Despite the media desperate to destabilise a Labour govt they have NOTHING on which to do that .Starmer was NOT told, so now they say yea but he should not have appointed him.. except the very SAME media was praising the appointment and opposition parties had no complaints then ! Don’t let them win!

Someone really needs to investigate the link between the Foreign office and the Guardian…

Labour MPs need to realise this isn’t about getting rid of Starmer it’s about destabilising the Labour govt and getting rid of all of you .. for Nigel and his mates ! The media have been on overdrive on this since July 24 .. it’s the latest attempt but not the last !

Even James O'Brien admits he fell for the Grauniad's reporting. I wonder if his beloved FT were a clarifying force? (Hint - prob not).

Most of these outlets are full of group thinkers. I don't have any respect for them.

#Starmer
#Mandelson

Thank you! I posted about this yesterday, and have complained to the BBC and DCMS, and will complain further to Ofcom when the BBC inevitably don’t do anything about it. They have been promoting Reform for a while now, but this is inexcusable.

I’m so sick of people both inside and outside the party trying to bring down the government. Absolutely sick of it. We are becoming ungovernable.

We’re so used to lying politicians . The public can’t conceive that Starmer didn’t lie.

As is we need any more proof that the BBC/ media is platforming Reform more than any other party, this popped up on BBC breakfast just after 6 am this morning.
Check on iplayer, it is there.
I’ve not seen branding for any other party’s policy announcements.

The Press knew. They laughed.

The Tories knew. They didn’t care.

All I see now is hypocrisy.

It was because he was a walking red flag that he was appointed, everyone was quite happy with his appointment at the time. The difference is he was a bigger red flag, and the release of the files showed that Epstein (and Trump) was far far worse than anyone could even have imagined.

That’s the biggest issue for me the ‘they have to be better’.

No, I’m saying the press should scrutinise politicians equally. They have been calling for Keir Starmer’s blood since he was elected.
I’d also add that the last time we had a PM last thier full term was 10 years ago, and changing quickly seems to be becoming the norm. It’s not good.

Something needs to be done to regulate the press in this country, or we will never have a PM who lasts a full term again. It’s a shame Starmer wasn’t able to finish the job of prosecuting dodgy journalists when he was DPP.

For goodness sake, we are never going to have a PM last a term ever again at this rate!

Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell could not have sold children for sex without rich perverts buying them for sex. I feel this needs to be emphasized much more than it is.

This was a brilliant series. I listened a couple of times, it’s absolutely chilling!

I have to say one of my absolute favourite interview moments with any politician ever was last year, when Iain Dale asked Rachel Reeves how she balances motherhood with being Chancellor. Her response: "There is no way that you'd have asked Rishi Sunak that". Very true, very girlboss.

Zack has the luxury of being able to say so, without the lives of millions of people in his hands. Keir Starmer has HAD to tread the diplomatic line, not for his own sake, but for all of ours. I’m sure he’s secretly dreaming of being able to demolish Trump in an international court!
