They did a song about Thunderbirds!
👀
Filming this was fun! Me and the models all still send each other Christmas cards.
For Christmas I got her a new key for her roller skates
Spider-Man has a sombrero.
He used those special parts to make his robot friends.
I was thinking he was wearing a scratchy undershirt but his chin is the same texture
The Riddler does not understand the complicated martial art movement of "jumping."
I want this comic book to be 23 pages of Lockheed wrestling across the city to open the coconut, like the squirrel in the Chuck Jones cartoon "Much Ado About Nutting."
(I cannot find a full version of the cartoon online that doesn't lead to malware. Nice work, WB.)
1977 NYT clipping about Keely Smith's comeback at the Rainbow Grill with Sam Butera and his band, who also played with Louis Prima for years.
Someone who owned the record before me saved a New York Times clipping about Keely inside it. I like when I find souvenirs like that inside old items.
As I have suspected, Louis Prima was a jerk to her, and I hate that because I like his performances and stage personality so much. Bah, Louis.
Now Playing: The Intimate Keely Smith (Reprise, 1964)
Just like going to a boozy piano bar and hearing her sing! Except for the record crackle.
Hey bartender, lemme have a milk. In a dirty glass!

Luckily for Batman, the Scarecrow did not know he was riding Plastic Man.
Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce as Holmes and Watson. Holmes has a rather silly floppy haircut.
Remember, although the movie's about Sherlock, all of "The Baker Street Dozen" Holmes films from Universal are set in then-modern day 1940s, so Holmes and Watson are fighting for the war effort.
Also, Holmes has found out that during the war, proper haircuts are rationed.
Now Playing: Sherlock Holmes in Washington (Murray Hill, 1980)
The complete soundtrack of the 1943 Universal movie with Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. "Soundtrack" meaning the complete audio of the film: dialogue, sound effects, and silences included.

Now Playing: Dynamic! by Dakota Staton (Capitol, 1958)
Sounds pretty good for a pressing from 1958, but I definitely have to dust this again better than I did just now.

That works!
Oooh, I like this!
The chickens storm off in indignation to call their agent
"And those chickens!"
I betcha anything it's 45 seconds of Cap coming back.
Chez Pig.
That looks like where Peppa Pig lives.
Aww, it says video not available!
Howard the Duck magazine #7. Howard leads Bev through the swamp while the Man-Thing lurks.
I love that one. Any cover where the Man-Thing's eyes really shine bright is amazing to me.
"Uh...what does God need with a starship?"
Songs. One of them is by Michael Jackson.
Trapped by the cat on the sofa so I can't get up and change the record and I have to listen to the Michael Jackson song at the end of side six of this album.
I have never heard this song before in my life.
