Also eventually the country needs to invest in charging infrastructure. The reason a lot of people don't buy them is range anxiety. I own an EV but I'm lucky I can charge at home and work. People who rent or don't have charging stations at work it becomes more difficult to justify it

My ioniq 6 EV weighs about as much as a minivan. In the US depending on the state you live in there's already an extra tax for having an EV. Plus if you add weight it would just push more people back to gas.
