Deity of the Week - Vídarr
“The silent god” the avenger of Odin, killing Fenrir during Ragnarök. The virtues or domains of patience, honour, and just vengeance have been ascribed to him.
Offer leather, particularly from shoes, as he has a shoe extra thick from discarded scraps.

Wednesday Witch Tips - Effort not Perfection
Whatever you are doing it is the effort put in and offered up that matters more than perfection. When something goes not-to-plan in spell or ritual, keep the flow going; fix what needs fixing if possible, but keep the energy moving.

The tension between folk and written memory!
We will probably never know more about this almost lost deity. But if you are local to, or visiting, Godmanchester, or the Great Ouse; spare a thought or an offering for him. Let him not be forgotten, and his name spoken again.
2/2
Deity of the Week-Abandinus
A Brittonic god known from a single inscription. Probably a local deity to modern Godmanchester where a bronze feather with his name was found. There are three theories of his domain based on his name:
He who sings
He who binds
Andinus of the river
