Does it seem unlikely that an authoritarian US government uses the Cloud Act to get research data from foreign universities to take advantage of?

I really wish for universities ditching Microsoft for open source alternatives. Problem remains, that Microsoft makes the licenses for student accounts provided by the universities free. Therefore it is much cheaper to stay with Microsoft and an out-of-the-box working system like M365

for the past two days I had actually system engineering work to do and holy moly... if you do the stuff you actually are good at and not some random shallow work, work can be fun!

I finished writing my last paper before I can start with my Bachelor's thesis.
I wrote and formatted the whole paper in #LibreOffice.

10/10 as easy to work with as Word/M365 or whatever you call it. Not missing any functionalities, highly recommend!
