I just want to say thanks for this post being the first thing I've seen about this game to undercut the slight FOMO I feel whenever someone talks about how much fun they're having. The live service style loop is why I stopped playing Destiny, and it's validating, to me, to see nothing's changed 😅

Hard agree. At the risk of sounding unkind, I took one look at the plastic minis in ARCS and thought "why would I ever want those?". The wooden ones are much nicer, to me, and with a lesser environmental impact (I assume and hope😅).
I'v strayed a little from the the 'candids' idea, but I have a set of simple Amber drawings in the works, similar to the recent(ish) Leo, Jennifer, and Mercy ones.

I should also really finish Tactics one of these days. I got distracted from the Ivalice Chronicles version and have found it hard to return to.

At the very least, I'm probably being skewed by my unfading desire to replay XIII, and a re-release to facilitate that.
I watched the extended Lord of the Rings recently with someone who'd never seen them before at all, and they still hold up. I'm not hardline against remakes or reboots, but The Lord of the Rings absolutely does not need one.
They made a mess of The Hobbit though.
I have been trying to do drawings for some of these prompts, but I am really bad at working to prompts and drawing quickly (especially if I don't already have an idea).

I would be curious about that too, since it's the only aspect of the game I'm actually interested in... but if what onion said below is true then... hmmm.
I've drawn her literally hundreds of times and I still usually have to remind myself which earrings she has on which side.
