It seemed to have minor optimization issues on the genesis/megadrive though, when a lot of objects were on the screen there would be lags when destroying some enemies, but nothing of a deal breaker, it had a wicked soundtrack too :)

I just literally discovered that this game got remade, its pretty good. I rented this one in my childhood and it is one tough customer on the original hardware.

The newer version has some quality of life improvements such as being able to shoot down missiles, but its pretty true to its original.

100% its like the whole mainline political class has been bewitched. So many unforced errors, the optics are hideous and it all looks so scripted, people feel that in their loins and Labour have got to understand that second chances in this environment are slim at best.

I do apologise for being abrasive though, its been really rough of late.

Its all became so grotty on the political front :(

Yeah, thats pretty much it, the blade cuts both ways. I think that the results in the locals are going to be a wake-up call. I pray that these rifts can be sorted out and that we can settle on the fact that the establishment has infiltrated parliament like swiss cheese.

its not your fault, politics is rotten these days and there's a lot of bandwagon hopping. Its a nasty effect of the whole trumpian psy-op. I just prefer to challenge misconceptions where i can and encourage more dialogue before misunderstandings happen.

It was assumed that i'm a run-of-the-mill starmerite, this happens a lot on the internet, some statements are taken as gospel based on a pre-concieved mindset, a presumption and then assuming i would have been anti-corbyn demonstrates a "tribal" clique.

its common and has happened before.

Yeah, its really the pits right now, perhaps there has been an air of arrogance, it may be accurate to say that Starmer should have considered his position following the WFA fiasco, it really did a lot of damage. My money's on Streeting angling for the top spot. That may be gnarly too.

A lot can change in 24 hours. What came out since then, makes it look like there was pressure from within number 10 to rush through the appointment, I reckon McDonnell was on the money, its gotta be those Blue Labour hacks.

Just like how many stances got softened post GE.

Ugh...how presumptuous...

Tribalism sucks, it matters not one iota to me. I know full well the media stitched Corbyn up royally. This country is a mess because of oligarch controlled media, in fact, it wouldn't surprise me if mandy-pandy was put there deliberately by the hidden hand.

Humans....mistakes, funny that, from what that olly robbins guy said, i certainly can't disagree with you at present, we'll just have to see what else comes out. Terrible decision and the locals may be the absolute end of the guy's premiership anyway.

Ain't no stopping that.

And i can't comprehend how telling y'all that scripted ignorance and political interference isn't "excusing" anything, look...i voted lib-dem because of the tory donors jumping ship, i want all the dodgy money outta out politics, its rotten as hell.

Nothing about this is "normal", we're looking at people being put in post as collateral to keep a PM in check. Dark arts and all that nasty guff. Sucks arse, but here we are.

Well, yes, the bloke was a human landmine, Starmer didn't play ball with opening the North Sea, so the press conveniently opens the can of worms. Nothing new though, right?

We knew the bloke was dodgy as all fuck, but since when has politicking been done as it should be in the last 20 years?

3 hours ago 2 0 2 0

Its insane how much damage those things are doing, rumor has it that most of the projects are getting cancelled too, i think its just a land grab by corporations, with the exception of the biggest companies.

Sadly, yes, with the state of some world leaders at the moment it feels like 2 minutes to midnight on a good day :/

I love that the EU has decided to listen to the people on this one, the cycle of upgrades and forced obsolescence is brutal, used to maybe have to upgrade once every 7-8 years, but its half of that these days, so anti-consumer.

P-E-A-K phones right there, the nokia's were remarkable devices, those things could survive an atomic bomb probably.

Palantir CEO Alex Karp was paid $6.8 BILLION in 2025.

Palantir itself only made $1bn in profit.

What is he being paid for?

It's certainly not for making money.

Perhaps its for the energy bill on the Van Der Graaf generator that he permanently has stuck up his arse? That hair do didn't style itself y'know...๐Ÿ˜…

Think i got my first one around 16 or so, it was one of those massive motorola things, they were almost invincible. Went down the john a couple of times, tumbled out of my pocket a million times and it lived. Yet fast foward to ones with supposedly military grade glass, 1 drop and it broke XD

I remember those big red ones, needed to be Arnie to budge the doors hehe

Oh damn, this one might have been the first touch screen i ever saw irl, my late friend had one. www.mobilephonemuseum.com/phone-detail...

We could just go back to the days of mobile phones where you could talk and text โ€ฆ. rather than smartphones ๐Ÿค”.

I'd have been cool with maybe as far back as the old skool Sony Ericsson ones, push notifications came from Hades XD

Oh gosh, that sounds awkward, some of those doors were really solid too.

Maybe thats where the term "spend a penny" was originally supposed to be applied and they just got confused at the time. I jest ofc.

Haha, you're spot on here though, as much as i would cuss tech for the problems it has wrought, if there was a choice between now and going back to public toilets aka. payphones, i think i might just say "nahh, i'm good, really"

They were never working either XD
