I'm really going to miss the D6. It has been a special way to get to know DC these past few years. I have so many memories on this bus. Would it be possible to get one of the D6 bus signs when they come down? Pretty please?

The young patient hadn't been outside for 6 months since her hospitalization. As part of her end-of-life care, we made it possible for her family to gather around her outside, in the beautiful sun. #EOLcare #hapc shared with permission.

I am finding that the most meaningful conversations come from beginning with silence. Leaving a space without prompts or leading. It is rare that we let silence lead in life, but can be so appropriate in a death cafe. More sharing seems to follow an awkward silence.
