I am still reading "Project Hail Mary". I am hoping to be finished this weekend, probably Saturday. I am loving the book, it's just I am in a weird mood lately and cannot concentrate to read a lot. So I am taking it as it comes.

I am watching anime duing the work week as they are shorter and leave me more time for other stuff in the evening; and watch hour-long episodes and movies during the weekend when I have a bit more time.
I am also currently watching Dan Dan Dan which is absolutely bonkers.
On Saturdays I watch the new episode of Drag Race US.
On Sundays I watch the new episode of Monarch: legacy of Monsters.
Good Morning.
Today will be the last episode of the anime Season 1 of "Sentenced to Be a Hero". I am sure the cliffhanger will be huge... This is one of the best anime I have seen in a long time.
This is how the world ends by Disco Barrington. A bright book cover with an eye, tech elements, and dystopian imagery.

Good Morning. I have not posted anything here in a long time. Work and life.
Reading update: I am now reading "Project Hail Mary" by Andy Weir. I am liking it so far. I am only 70-80 pages in. I am just too tired in the evenings and cannot read more than a couple of chapters.

So the women’s hockey team got fresh pasta at a swanky restaurant in Milan with Stanley Tucci and the men’s team got cold McDonalds in a room blaring Toby Keith where the President didn’t even eat with them. Y’all idk if you’ve noticed but the patriarchy sucks FOR YOU.

I used to love his work; now I can't even read the books I got before the news. I am not going to support his new book, or anthing else he does.
I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Review: The Strength of the Few – James Islington
I started reading the second book in the Hierarchy series, "The Strength of the Few" by James Islington, at the end of December. I finished it on the 4th of January. This is a solid read, especially for a second book in a trilogy. It picks up right…

“Authors” using AI slop in their books: a small list.
Photo by Markus Spiske on Pexels.com We have lately seen a surge in AI slop. And yes, I will call it AI slop, because that is what it is: slop produced by AI. And if someone needs to use AI to create any kind of work of art, then they are not…

A small new publisher whose books I love ("Stars and Sabers")
have some great cover artists. Maybe check their books and see if there is an artist you like more. One of them is Raul Cruz www.artstation.com/raulcruz I absolutely loved the cover for "Echoes and Embers" from Pedro Iniguez.
It's snowing here, in Norwich, UK.
Good Morning. Happy Saturday.

I am currently reading "The Strength of the Few" by James Islington.
My two favourite reads are: "For Whom the Belle Tolls" by Jaysea Lynn and "The Everlasting" by Alix E. Harrow. There have been other notable reads, but these two have my heart.
