This final arc of Magi is a slog.

I’ve continued reading #DramaQueen because it the premise was dark and thought provoking but the story is going nowhere and we’re 29 chapters in. Plus all the characters are unlikable and stiff.

Magi is a pretty good shonen story but I’m not a fan of the manga’s art. White backgrounds, characters with the same face, similar designs and the art isn’t sharp enough to not get lost on who is who in the action panels.

This season has some of the strongest season 2s in awhile.

#MyDressUpDarling has me running to Crunchyroll every Saturday.

#callofthenight I was thinking of dropping after S1 but S2 is spectacular.

I like #MarriageToxin but we’re on chapter 133 with back to back villain of the week + small side quest.

Author needs a heavier arc soon.

Cute and fun series. Romance a little too slice of life ish for me but the characters were fun and I’ll miss them.
