Greetings! In this week's episode we're talking Vampires. Some are good, some are bad, but all are essential. Whether it's the silent terror of Nosferatu or the chaotic comedy of What We Do in the Shadows. We've got something for everyone. (Sleepwalkers, anyone?)
Enjoy!
I absolutely LOVED it. The acting, writing, and especially the gory silliness of it all. And while Im not the biggest Troma fan, I’ve seen tons of their films over the years. From my lens, this retelling maintains the heart of the original, but also offers rich originality as well. Will see again!
Someone here asked a film-related question, so i jotted down some thoughts. Have a read.

The shittiest thing about this timeline we’re stuck in is that we’ve yet to see a Tarantino / Giallo flick.
No Swayze, no interest here. Hard pass.
Val Kilmer was such a tremendous talent. RIP.
Here are just a few of my favorite roles. What are some of yours?

Went into COMPANION totally blind. Absolutely loved it. If you enjoyed films like ex Machina, M3GAN or even HBO’s WestWorld you’re gonna dig this. Great ensemble cast, led by an amazing performance by Sophie Thatcher. Highly recommend! B+

Let’s just say that the all these ‘layers of cement bricks’ are all built between now and next season: is there a realistic scenario where we play Odegaard and Nwaneri in the same starting 11 on a consistent basis?
Glad the chance to rest Havertz Martinelli and Rice for the whole 90 paid off! Hopefully it’s the beginning to something larger for our squad. These next 6 weeks look to pose the best opportunity for this entire season to rest the legs for some - and to build minutes into legs for others.
