Oh, hello! I didn't see you there.
Here's a thing I made last week that I really had fun with. Trying to channel the dreamy quality of Redon- one of my favorite Symbolists.
"A Dream of Knowledge"

Thank you as always for sharing my work! :)
I keep hearing/seeing this phrase lately... "Uh oh, good art is back. Things must really be bad."
Good art has ALWAYS been here. I think it just...hits different when things are bad. Weighs more perhaps.
Artist are roaches. We get stronger in the dark. Remember that.
So go make something.
Food, art, anything! Already got the prado of course. Just curious about people's personal fave experiences. ๐
Friends! Anyone got some good Madrid recommendations? :)
This really hurts to share. So heartbroken for Amelia, Max's family and all of us who had the privilege of knowing him. An unbelievable loss. Please do what you can to support his family. www.gofundme.com/f/funeral-co...

SERIOUSLY. Ugh. Maybe not everyone wants to spend their entire 30s burnt out yeah? I sorta hope Gen Z will actually force some change.
I sincerely hope every CEO and Billionaire and "Bootstrap" Nepo Baby is reincarnated as a working class neurodivergent artist trying to survive late stage capitalism.
Because seriously fuck this shit.
#poorthings study to try out a new watercolor paper!
Happy Wednesday! ๐ค๐ค๐ค
It should be #1 on everyone's list. I only spent an hour with it tonight but already it's full of sticky notes and highlights. MASSIVELY helpful and succinct. Every chapter full of so many "Oh THAT makes sense now" moments
Lol starter novel #2! A sequel to starter novel #1. (Urban fantasy with a little scifi as a treat) Both are mostly unreadable still but #2 is slightly less so. Progress!
January was cozy writing month (200 pages of a new thing) but now I need screen time breaks and tank filling so Feb is now cozy reading month. My ADHD likes having options but it might be getting out of hand lol. ๐คฃ
I made a new art!
Titania
9 x 12 Graphite on paper
This fierce fairy queen is for sale up today! She can see all your secrets sure, but she's seen a lot already so she won't judge.

On a Pixies hyperfix. This seems like a good anthem for this week.

God I love your style. <3 These are gorgeous! (So cool to see the BTS!)
Seeing this in Nottingham earlier this year was one of the best theater experiences of my life. I wish it would never close so I could hope to bring Lucy and Rocky but maybe it'll come to the US one day. <3 <3
I'm so excited for youuuuu! I hope it's exactly everything you want. <3
Lordy that's yummy.
If there is I haven't found out how much yet. Sunday Morning has been on repeat for days.
Weird abstract horror novels aren't easy to visualize lol!
IT's one of those books that changes the person who reads it I think. It's ok to take it slow.
Thanks for the loooove all! Prints are on sale right now btw. ;) www.inprnt.com/gallery/kris...
House of Leaves.
Charcoal on paper.
(and I desperately need to re-read this. It's the perfect season)
Oooohhhh this looks very promising. <3
Though it needs some giant oil paintings I think... I know someone. ;)
How much Velvet Underground is too much before I should probably call my therapist?
Sweatah Weathah!!
LOVE
Did you ever see the "Doubtful Guest" musical in NYC btw?
LOL This is so true. I live in a building that isn't like over 100 years old finally and it has thermostats in multiple rooms. I feel like a GD queen.
