It’s probably better to learn basic household and self-maintenance tasks such as cooking and laundry (actually learn, don’t pretend to pay attention so you can play dumb later and foist your personal mess on the nearest lady person) and go to therapy to learn how to do your own emotional labor.
I’ve been taking out my fears and frustrations on goblins etc in Megabonk. But it’s not without consequences because I die quickly, and it feels like a lot. So in a way I guess it is justice.

I’m reading that right now too - it’s my first Octavia Butler book, I enjoy historical fiction but don’t always gravitate to the fantasy/sci fi (?) side - but I agree! So good. Libro recommendations are always spot on for me - audiobook narration is fabulous on this one also!

All my internet searches told me to run my #Steam PC games with Proton Experimental when troubleshooting on #Linux. I’m finding for #Mint, however, Proton 9.0 is the fix. I was able to get back into 7-8 games that wouldn’t open on any other compatibility setting. Hope this helps someone
