Maybe it's different tolerances for the character-to-plot speed ratio of a show/season?

I feel like there was a lot of growth and depth in SO many characters, which is WAY more important to me than plot momentum. I'll fucking watch fifteen seasons of plot creep w/these characters in this setting.

Maybe it's the Jane talking, but DAMN the S2 finale of @fallout.bethesdastudios.com really is amazing.

The arcs several of these characters took from S1 through S2 upended a lot of my initial feelings about them, which is a credit to both writers and actors.
