Increasingly I feel like I favor furry because it espouses the idea that humans, for all our mastery over nature, are still animals. We need to nap and wander and frolic and utter strange noises. It is good for us to be weird little guys, which is something society is so committed to stripping away.

I think we need more stories of people doing things to help. It is easy to fall into despair and think no one is doing anything but a lot of people are doing a lot of good!
