It's painted directly over the 3D model, I think it's a feature since ver.3? Sadly, only drawings over primitive shapes (boxes, spheres, etc) can be exported.
If you can import texture to body models, I still haven't found out how to do it.

It's impossible not to draw comparisons to Silent Hill F, where the horror drops after the first couple of hours and most of the environmental storytelling weakens the more you learn about the story.

We had a new session of Silent Hill 2 yesterday night (end of Toluca prison/begining of Labyrinth) and levels of tension and horror keep scaling. The abstract daddy boss fight was insane, the whole narrative of it from the monster design to the scenery was horrific (good).
