LaFleur only had them run the ball a lot last year cuz Love was dealing with injuries that affected his play & they kept seeing a light box. If the other team wants to play a shell defense, then he's going to call a run play, especially w/ Jacobs back there. He definitely wants to sling the rock.

Hopefully the Packers drafted 2 WRs in the top 100 kills any of the “LaFleur just wants to run the ball,” stuff that cropped up last year.
Some of it was from Packers fans and some from rivals who tried to use it against Jordan Love.
No they want to sling it.
That has to be bait, when was the last time they "tanked a season"? Also, Pittsburgh fans are all about winning and championships historically. This guy is crazy.
Why are the Steelers passing on so many good QBs? Including Shedeur Sanders. Are they really hoping Aaron Rodgers or Kirk Cousins can still play football at a high level? They don't even know if Rodgers wants to still play football. I'm really curious what their front office is thinking...
I think taking Matthew Golden makes sense. After our loss to the Eagles in the playoffs, and even before that, we saw how lacking our WR room is compared to good teams. Now, I don't know if Matthew Golden will be the difference maker, but I'll put my trust in LaFleur and Gutekunst for now
Honestly, I don't particularily care who the Packers draft. I just hope Gutekunst drafts players who want to be a Packer. I think character and mental toughness have a lot to do with who will fit. I know that's hard to evaluate, but we need guys who want to be in Green Bay, not hostages.
Matt LaFleur and Gutekunst would know the types of players they want that fit our system. Not just scheme-wise, but mentality as well. Focus on keeping what we have first, then think about the extra acquisitions.
I appreciate the weeks leading up to the season. Let's me know who the real fans of the Packers are. People get too hysterical during the offseason. You should be excited, but don't throw the front office and coaching staff under the bus when they don't trade for the high profile player you want...
Gutekunst has been talking up Lukas Van Ness, and I'd like believe he's about to have a breakout year. Unfortunately, he hasn't shown it during meaningful games.
I hope this offseason the team can lock-in and really make a push for the 2025 season. It's all talk until then.
I tend to agree with Josh on this one, especially after the collapse of our pass game at the end of the season. Our current receiving core cannot get consistent separation in man coverage except for Christian Watson, and he's hurt half the time. Need a big threat on critical 3rd downs.
I'm confused, since when do we want the Chiefs to win over the Eagles? I thought it was an unspoken agreement that we all root against a dynasty. I know a lot of people were pulling for the Bills, but as a Packers fan I would much rather have the team that beat us win it all than the Chiefs.
Also Saquon is an absolute beast. You can sellout on the run stop every down, but it doesn't matter when you have #26 and that OL.
I didn't post about it earlier, but I hope that NFC championship game shut some of those media pundits up about the "Hurts can't throw" narrative. The Eagles can beat you any style they want.
Also, Jalen is protecting the football. The ball is the program, you pay double for turnovers in the playoffs. Look at all the teams who have lost besides the Texans. They all had multiple turnovers, which cost their team the game. If the Eagles protect the ball against WASH next week, they win easy
Look at these stats, the QBR is lower for Jalen because of all the sacks. Otherwise the stats are very similar. And yet they're killing Jalen for not passing enough? That's a crazy double standard. I think Josh Allen is a great QB, but he won that game because of his defense not his arm.
For some reason people are killing Jalen Hurts for not throwing well & praising Josh Allen after the divisional round. They have the same passing stats! Also if AJ caught 2 of his 6 dropped passes, Jalen's stats would look a lot different. I swear some of these media pundits don't watch football...
Even though the #Packers are elminated from the playoffs, my S/O is an Eagles fan. So I can enjoy the playoffs vicariously through her. It was actually fun to do that the last time they won and went to the SB. One thing about Philly fans is that they are passionate.
I saw @minakimes.bsky.social talking about this, I agree the one thing Jordan Love needs to work on is his scramble ability. He relys on his arm (which is great), but you can't force throws all the time. He'll never be a dual-threat QB, but at least keep the ball to get a few yards. #Packers
Oh my god, finally a new Mario Kart! Coming up on 11 years since 8 was released. More excited about that than Switch 2, the announcement video was a little underwhelming to be honest. Maybe the full presentation in April will get me into it.
just confirming that Nintendo Switch 2 Direct is April 2, not Feb 4th. Broadcast time to be announced later
That would be awesome next year. If LaFleur and the other coaches can get Tuck & Musgrave to be a TE duo like Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely, that would be very ideal.
It was hard to tell honestly, but he has been dealing with multiple injuries all year (knee, groin, elbow). He needs to focus on getting healthy this offseason.
The injuries happening so early felt like Love could never get a rhythm going all season. They all need to get healthy for next year.
Let's not forget that it took Aaron Rodgers 3 years as our starter to get us deep into the playoffs and win a SB. This was only Love's 2nd year going up against an actually stacked Eagles team that have been playing great all year.
Not sure why #Packers fans are still condemning Love. I know his performance was poor in that game against the Eagles. If you had watched any Eagles games before Sunday, you would known what would happen. Their defense tore apart QB's more experienced than Love all year. He will learn from it.
The NFC North is having a rough Wild Card Weekend... Sam Darnold looks absolutely shaken up in this game. As if he never recovered from the Lions game. Yikes.

The tone was set on kickoff when Nixon "fumbled" that ball. I knew we were going to struggle based off the last 2 games. It is what it is, the team will learn and grown from this. Love will be QB1 and LaFleur HC, regardless of how the fans feel. Just need to clean up the rest of the roster. #Packers
So I see some of my fellow #Packers fans overreacting about yesterday's loss. Let's put it in perspective.
Did we expect better results from Jordan Love? Yes. Was he missing his top 3 receivers and throwing to WR4's? Yes. Was his OL getting decimated against an elite Eagles pass rush? Yes.
If we were 100% healthy, then yeah we would have had a much better chance. That is not how football works. This is a contact sport, it happens. Brian Gutekunst and Matt LaFleur need to have a serious discussion about what we want to do roster-wise. #Packers #GoPackGo
I think this might have been one of the worst games of the season for the #Packers. On the bright-side, they're young. This is a learning experience for everyone. We can't beat the best teams in the NFL if we beat ourselves first. Clean it up in the off season, I know the boys are hungry.
