He directed Silent Running, produced The Starlost, and worked on VFX for 2001: A Space Odyssey, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Blade Runner (1982, below), and many other classics.

Star Trek project: I’ve been working on some handheld props with animated displays. These are a few early tests, including an animated version of the Relativity device. I also made a version that can turn the display on/off and run LEDs.
