Climate experts say spring is coming earlier. How will that affect agriculture and ecosystems? An earlier spring affects when migratory birds arrive, leaves emerge, and fruit ripens — among plants and animals that determine ecosystem health.

Warm weather arriving earlier can cause birds to migrate too soon, missing peak food abundance as well as cause crops to bloom too early, leading to billions in damages to the agricultural sector.

Balcony solar is taking state legislatures by storm In more than half of U.S. states, Republican and Democratic lawmakers have introduced legislation that would boost adoption of DIY solar systems.

Virginia House Passes Data Center Tax Exemption, With Conditions - Inside Climate News New and existing data centers could continue receiving a break on the state’s retail sales and use tax, as long as they moved away from fossil fuels and tried to reduce energy usage.

Conditions include data centers matching their electricity with clean energy sources, encouraging the shift from diesel backup generators to clean sources such as batteries.
