Can I help?

#Huskers #Nebrasketball only lost one game all year to teams not in the Great Eight! (@UCLA)

#Huskers beat Final Four finalist #Illinois in December on the Illini home court. They also beat Iowa and Michigan State (made it to Sweet Sixteen).

Just an incredible season!! #GBR

#Illinois deserves it. Another team peaking at the right time.

It’s the same every year with #MarchMadness. It’s about timing — which teams peak at the end of the season and the tournament. Clearly Iowa and Texas top two prime examples.

One terrific thing about Nebrasketball getting to the Sweet Sixteen is finding other Huskers to follow here.

A keyword search still works best, but @chazinsocal.bsky.social has a filter/group set up, too

On both Facebook and Twitter I saw more posts asking if the car was okay than caring about the child who was hit.

Very thankful for the good and decent people on this platform.

Again, as an #LFC supporter and footy lover...👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 spot on. I'm sad too. World cup is one of my favorite events!
But beyond safety of fans and players, spending $ to come here supports our facist regime.

Hmm. The word “official” seems to stick out to me.

I think this is most revealing of a team still in transition. So many changes that, I suspect, will pay off more in future years than the present.

This is just crazy firing him this quickly. I’m still on board with Slot but this may put a little extra heat on him.

Shocked at this. Wow.

Big Ten not showing up so well in bowl season. Is Indiana overrated?

Roughly Eras (debatably):

1974-1993: Perennial National Power

1994-2001: Dynasty Era

2002-2014 - Perennial 9-10 Win Teams (but no longer national title contender)

2015 to Present: Struggle Years

But Indiana shows anything can happen! Let’s see what does.

For me it’s about perspective. I remember when losing a football game was a stunner, often only against Oklahoma and/or a bowl game in the 80s (year after year). Not a lot changed the first twenty years of Coach Osborne’s tenure. And not a lot has changed since Pelini fired. So today is no shock.

Didn’t exactly peak at the end of the season.

Nebraska last won a national championship 29 years ago. Our last conference championship was last century (1999), 26 years ago. Nebraska has not won more than seven games in a season in nine years. We’re 57-63 over the last 11 seasons.

I can love #Husker FB and our great fan base in spite of this.

Never a good idea to post much immediately following a bad game. Emotions too charged. It’s one game in one season in one coaching era following two prior failed coaching stints following the last regular 9-win coaching stint following playing for the national championship after winning 3 of 4.

Wouldn’t go that far but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ponder #Husker football as a perennial national power and contender is more a part of our coveted history. Can it ever come back? Indiana shows it can be done.

How about if blue states pull THEIR money? Every federal taxpayer is also a STATE taxpayer.
