Bear with. I haven't quite worked out the tuning because (not really thinking til now) guitar strings are designed to be a fourth apart, not semitones, so it's going to probably be a bass section and 'other' ...

Home made harp built from recycled materials.

Almost finished. #harp definitely looks better than it sounds, but then I suppose 1950s kitchen drawers weren't built for their acoustic properties 😊

Harp in the making using only recycled parts, labelled. Old drawer, stud wall timber, old piano pins etc.

Quite surprised meself so far. I always wanted to play #harp but got fobbed off with depressing old clarinet as a kid. No disrespect, well, some, but there aren't many instruments I like the sound of. Everything is #recycled except I've run out of old guitar strings so ordered a few more.

Bodging up a harp using only scrap/recycled materials. No blueprint, just a vague wondering how to fit bits together. A bit of stud wall, a bit of hazel washing line prop, old guitar strings, old piano wrest pins & an old drawer for the sound box = #music ...maybe.
