Replaced mine last year. Minimal savings on homeowners, but some. The gutters didn't need to be touched at all to complete the job. They did give me a quote for replacing those as well, but I declined.

But if I whiz through a first. Revising takes longer but not as much longer as the first would have taken.

I get further when I manage to do that, but I usually agonize so much over a first draft that it takes forever ... of course my revising takes far less time and effort.

I worded poorly. You want the A. Do you know what the A looks like? I'm assuming yes, but that was what I was trying to get at: do you recognize an A and know what makes the work A-worthy?

Okay. So one aspect is your definition of good. Do you have a clear and coherent picture of that? (I'm not after trying to debate good, it's up to you what's good to you, I just want to know if you *do* have a firm grasp of what that is)

I do not require your energy or any performance of chipper.. chipperiness? Chipperitude? Whatever.

Also, were this a scene i wrote, I would revise my character's dialogue to be "our speaking and writing voices both evolve from the same source, which is how we *think*" and go from there.
