10 days left to submit to Trifles: a Quarterly of Devotees of Sherlock Holmes! I've received only 4 submissions so far. Don't wait until the last minute!I'm going to include the origin of Holmes' beating the cadavers but it could get pretty gruesome if I have to pull more out of medical journals!

If youโre a Hachette author you should be talking to your editors and teams about this. If theyโre using AI to counter AI, itโs still AI. And it may also be giving your work to the machine, serving it up on a contractual platter.
***** Thank you Darlene, your long-awaited and epic finale to the Young Sherlock saga was far and away the finest chapter among all of them. A follow-up to the 'Gloria Scott' adventure set me off into a 21-chapter tour de force the finest spotlighting so many specific and treasured moments in Holmes lore that Sir Arthur could only touch upon. Meeting the blunt instrument Lestrade for the first time, a chance encounter with Wiggins creating the Baker Street Irregulars, the tragically touching origin of the ash monograph, and full details of the Giant Rat of Sumatra case only scratch the surface of what the next reader has to look forward to. I recommend all readers to read "The Crack in the lens" and the other two installments of the Trilogy first, but this one nearly stands alone as a showcase of Sherlock's early career. I can only hope Ms. Cypser isn't done writing Holmes stories!

As Spirit Speaker, who can see, & speak to the dead, Orion Labauve walks a fine line between control & chaos. This time, however, the spirits are not the usual scattered souls seeking closure he has encountered in the past.
