Needs Boris Johnson's LTN1/20 cycle infrastructure guidace!

Good to see bike infrastructure going in there; my memory of that area was of an awful traffic sewer. The 'weed bed' next to the bike path looks as if it should capture rainwater. I hope someone comes back and suitably plants and mulches them...
"Rybarczyk works in animal welfare, but she is not a wildlife biologist. She has taught herself about the egrets to educate herself and her neighbors." 🤨
Genius
I guess so, if you want to shut down all debate about how we do things. I get there's a line, but perhaps that cuts both ways
I'm really interested in how we deradicalise boomers
"No-one by the name of Jim worked, or had ever worked, at that company." Amirite?
More: they have to create political weather whereby *the tories* repudiate Brexit
Great thread, diving into the data on how wealthier people drive more (except London) and how we're not helping the poorest if we assume they drive
TFW you've got a council candidate on your doorstep and can't think what to say? We've got you. Things you could talk to Exeter City Council candidates about include:
🚗20mph for Exeter
🚸Safe School streets
🚲Bike parking and bike hangars
Perfect setting
Not retrofit...but I always think this 1940s road layout in Exeter was quite visionary. A pleasant path/cycle path links the two roads at the front of the school. We also had a school street retrofitted in St Thomas possibly in the pioneering 1960s?
Don't put bird feeders out full stop. Garden wilder instead.
We also have a car park covered in solar panels at Exeter University

We're fighting to stop a filter being removed from one of Exeter's key strategic cycle routes, the E9 at Dryden Road. Removing the filter would allow nearly 4,000 cars a day back onto the route, with just paint for protection. Our Chair James explains the issues in these short videos👇🎥.
Someone needs to explain this to Kylie and Eve [for reference bsky.app/profile/gerr... ]
Airports, well!
Political parties should be banned from banning journalists.
Nice scheme
I like this framing. A necessity...or a habit?
As book banning sweeps across the U.S. at an unprecedented rate, brave librarians emerge as first responders in the fight for democracy. A film by Kim A. Snyder.

Troublemakers sending signals you say 🤔
Spot on. So much "country living" is basically living in an industrial landscape
Sinning unrepentantly you say 🤔
So many clichés. And then a vaguely threatening note at the end
This 'act of domination' is a curious term. They may well say theirs is the only god; so do Christians. What's the difference?
