I'm not usually one for self-promotion, but here's a video I did for a song I made for the band I'm in.

We were being tourists in the white goods section of Harrods and saw Rick Wakeman shopping for a new fridge.

Presumably he's heard that the Second World War had something to do with Poles, so y'know, just in case...

Fires tracer, but also used for close support

Haha, definitely!
There was also a very hasty and disappointingly unsatisfactory termination of 'The Expanse'.

Not often you hear a bunch of Italians shouting 'Totalitarian!' on live telly though.

Excellent! 😃

farage and the lickspittle tories buggered us with brexit. We should be trying to get back in the EU's good books. Starmer might be a bit of a disappointment but I shudder to think where we'd be if Labour HADN'T won the election.

"Groceries... It’s such an old-fashioned term but a beautiful term: groceries... It sort of says a bag with different things in it." 😏

The Mirror front page reprinting their VE Day cartoon from 80 years ago, feels very pertinent given the state of everything

The one in the foreground (a Mk.V, I believe) has Churchill track, as well as Sherman track links on the turret and around the hill M.G. port. Interestingly it also appears to be missing a wheel bogie.

Braving the rain to prove the bridge is no longer too far...

Well we went on Thursday when it decided to piss down :(
As novice ground-walkers, we managed a wander round the Hartenstein grounds, walk some of the Northern perimeter, and visit the cemetery before the rain took it's toll on Mrs Dalek, so we hit the Lombok and then Arnhem and the bridge.

Brilliant, thanks! I'll have to see what we can fit in. It's a bit of an (ahem) flying visit.👍

I've got a couple of days in Amsterdam next week so want to have a day trip to Arnhem. Any advice @rgpoulussen.bsky.social @almurray.bsky.social (or anyone else who knows!) for the best places to go - other than the Hartenstein - for the optimal visit (given that there'll be no second drop!). Ta :)
