When I was a temporary worker for the federal government with a two year appointment, I could not understand why my Congressman and those who worked for him got the federal retirement and healthcare system.

If you don't participate in the recruiting and the primaries so that you can vote for the candidate with a clear conscience, then you are not an active participant. You are just riding a wave of your single issue.
I see too many saying that experience counts. I said that about Hillary when she lost to Obama (ans still believe it). But experience is only important if you want to protect the present.
