Haha, very true.

And I don't think anyone has the patience for that level of nonsense anymore

I never played Chuckie Egg, but used to be obsessed with Chuckie Egg 2, despite it being borderline impossible

Listening to the Prince coverage on 6 music.

I remember a lady was cross with me on the other place as I said I liked Prince, but he wasn't my favourite.

She took the time to explain why I should like him.

How very generous.

Putting together the last bit of furniture for my son's new bedroom.

So that's an ottoman bed, a bookcase, bedside table and now a desk.

I'm knackered. He best remember this when I slither into a care home eventually

You're right, everyone does it different. I just can't fathom the mindset of 'not my home, so all bets are off'. Like parents who totally ignore their kids going berserk in pubs or restaurants. I'd be mortified

We're exactly the same. They're representing.

Does my head in when kids are going feral and the parents just ignore it.

It's not your house, stop them!

I told one kid three times to stop jumping on my sofa. Third time I raised my voice, couldn't care less that the parent was sitting opposite me, control your crotch spillages or I will

When i was a kid, I'd get much more of a kicking from my parents if I acted the arse around someone else's house rather than my own.

We had some friends and their kids over today. My 'i will judge your kid if it comes straight in and starts jumping on my sofa' radar was on overdrive.

Some of them were going mental. Does 'other people's house have more boundaries than your own home' not apply anymore?

My wife went into labour with our son three weeks earlier than planned in Dungeness while I was pissed on whisky and we were 60 miles from our hospital

Love that place

Thanks mate

The only saving grace was she was comfortable and asleep

It's weird, I member the last conversation I had with her, even though I had no idea it would be the last at the time

Ah really sorry to hear that, it really was terrible.

Similar, my sister was in ICU, only my mum could visit, and she died alone as it was late at night

Thank you kindly pal. All good, we gave our daughter my sisters name as her middle name to keep her going

Totally bizarre, joyous one second, broken the next.

And knowing my wife and new daughter were in a hospital and I couldn't see them.

But, today is a lovely day outside so we're going to have fun

Anyhow, pizza dough has been left to proof, now about to head to the park for a picnic and Frisbee, and of course, cold pints
