You know, I never ever ever thought in my entire life that the government would spy on CATO. That's just nuts, and i lived through Nixon!
My parents made us eat "three bites" of food we didn't like. I was not particularly fond of a dish my mother made using navy beans, so that was torture.
Grape Nuts. We had Grape Nuts. Plain Cheerios. Plain Shredded Wheat too. And Raisin Bran, which back in the 1960s was more bran than raisins.
What about "bust down door" or something similar?
I guess we need to know which newspapers in the McClatchy group are going to (a) push out AI slop (b) under the names of people who did not write it.
They would frankly hate taking my keystroke logging and mouse movements and screenshots. Because when I'm reading something I absentmindedly run my mouse over the text at times or just in circles.
This is a war based on lies
I cannot imagine that banks want to be doing this either. I think they'd dig in their heels and say, "Tell Congress to update the Bank Secrecy Act." Because it costs a LOT of money to collect all this information.
Of course she did.
I finally found a birthday present my husband will love. Done!
@forbes.com bad look, very bad look.
Today's winner of the Internet. Congratulations!
I read in the Guardian today that her visa had been revoked, for the same reason Kanye West's visa had been revoked. So they're not allowing her into the country.

And I’m perfectly fine with extra words.
The second you kill your wife, you’re no longer a husband.
You’re her killer. That’s a more consequential, irrevocable status than “husband”.
At a time when mass surveillance and autonomous weapons companies like Palantir are openly announcing their plans for violent world domination, it is crucial that our attempts at “big tech reform” don’t actually give them more power—ie via government mandated age verification/identity software
I got the same look from my two cats yesterday when I told them to move so I could wash the sheets. They got over it.
Basically we're at a point where if you love and accept your trans child and don't abuse them the government will criminalize both you and your child.
You know, even Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity have three sets of clothes--one to wash, one to wear and one to mend. Plus, have you ever traveled in a humid country? There is nothing like damp underwear strewn around a hotel room that has to be put in a suitcase.
Yeah, so much for us married with no kids families. *sigh*
Married couples without children need apply. /am part of one
I guess my husband and I don't count as a family. We don't have children and I'm pretty sure our cats would not count.
Why can't you call it was it is? A type of indentured servitude bordering on slavery, where a woman becomes a copk, cleaner, bangmaud and babymaker for a privileged man. It's a horror story!
Trump is reported close to a "deal" with himself under which US taxpayers would pay him $10 billion.
I served in multiple communist and authoritarian dictatorships, but I never witnessed corruption on this scale or this blatant.
He thought he was getting a compliant cook, housekeeper, bangmaid and babymaker. Little did he know that he had stepped into something far darker and deeper than he knew. @joeuchill.bsky.social
Oooh. Dayum. What an idea!
Last Wednesday, I had just come off the 202 Freeway and turned to go soth on Priest Drive in Tempe and there was a Waymo blocking 2 of 3 lanes ahead. Luckily it was 3:45 am. Double lucky I was not driving on autopilot and I went around it. But no, I didn't like it.
Oh .... you mean the Martin Luther who wrote the execrable "On the Jews and Their Lies"? That Martin Luther?
When I worked at a laundry/dry cleanerat the end of the 1970s, we cleaned the local golf pro's pants. They were the *wildest* pants I'd ever seen in my then short life. Clashing plaids, mostly. He called them his "go to hell" pants. I've never forgotten that.
