I freaked out learning abt this from FB. Was upset I wasn’t informed before hand. She’s my last living grandparent. I really cannot afford to lose anyone else…I was so scared for her… 😭😭😭
She broke her humerus and shattered/broke 4 of her front teeth out of her mouth. X-rays showed no further damage anywhere (head, arms and hip/pelvis [which she broke a couple of years ago slipping on ice])
She’s home now and on some serious pain meds.
So she’s okay/going to be okay.
She was home alone, tripped over a rug and somehow hit her face on the way down (she isn’t sure how cuz it happened so fast).
She called my parents to help, they got there FAST, Dad called 911 cuz she couldn’t speak with broken teeth.
Not me finding out through a fucking FB POST that my grandmother fell last night and broke her shoulder and TEETH and is in the hospital!
It isn’t even 11am in 2026 yet!! WTF?!? How’s this shit going to start off like this?!

Although this past year turned out to be extremely and unexpectedly difficult and painful I am grateful to still be here.
I’m looking forward to this next & so hopeful that it will be so much better and brighter and bigger than this last.💙

34 is 3 days away…
Trying really hard not to sink into another hole/depressive episode about my ex…
The last one nearly killed me & left literal scars…& the fact some claimed it was something else left me not knowing who was left I could trust or even how to move forward…
Mental health is a serious matter and always has been for me. I let myself lose my grip on my own w/o realizing it. I used to take much better care of myself…I‘ve gotten better at it again while taking a prolonged break from a lot of things over the last few months but there’s still work to be done.
So I want to try to be active again and not let my mental health issues get the better of me as I have been over the last few months. I want to find MY voice again and speak/life MY truth and let myself live my journey again. For me.
I’m finally starting to feel like I do have more worth than I let myself believe most of the time & I should be more focused on positive things. I can’t let myself be afraid or anxious about simply existing & taking up space for myself anymore. Especially not over someone else’s horrible actions.
Ngl… this year has been extremely difficult for me. Mentally. Emotionally. Financially.
A lot of really bad things have happened to/around me that put me in a really bad mental state for the last several months. Nearly the whole year tbh.

For several years - and over the course of almost 70 episodes - I’ve been quietly geeking out about finally becoming a part of the Digimon universe alongside my castmates.
