It really was. Those airbrushed box arts were so inspiring, they practically made me want to be an artist in the first place.

I tried to homage that particular art with my 'First Cybertronian Civil War' fan art, back in the day.

Got some suggestions for an ejection effect part for Blaster, so here we go! The main tape piece re-creates Blaster's '86 on-screen look and holds the mount for cassette bots to take on a mid ejection pose!

Reusable plastic crazy straw! Cut a segment. If you can find the right kind. Or don’t. You may need to sand a little because they are’t a perfectly consistent 5MM so they can be tight and hard to get out of a port.

Original Armada Minicons with green straw segments plugged into their ports. The important part of using the straw is its hollow so the tiny post in the center of the Minicon port won’t obstruct the peg we’ve made.

Galvatron and Megatron with their Leader-1 friends that don’t do much of anything for them! Gosh their original toys had like 10 play features, including (I think) spring mechanisms, firing missiles, lights, and sounds. Garbage hips that didn’t move forwards kinda ruined the toy some, but I see how he had to be stable with so much going on. Armada was so ambitious and we don’t respect that enough. Hasbro and Takara really got back together with a major collaboration and there was so much creativity.

Tidal Wave models one of the tiniest Minicons. I’m getting a kick out of how it looks like a little decoration like a lapel in or cufflink that would be appropriate for a Big Boat Man.

Found the remains of one of my old magic straws to rectify the Minicon Exclusion Crimes of modern robots.

The straws have some additional non-minicon uses as well.

I have been corrected that you can do pretty good kimchi jiggae and kimchi jeon also, lol

in general if it is too strong (it doesn't really go bad, it just keeps getting softer and more acidic) it has a highly acidic flavor verging on like citric acid. That's when it's too strong for soup and is really only good for fried rice

this is the energy that TF needs to justify a $35/40 price point yes
