I have no words for what happened (again) in Minnesota at the hands of federal agents. These are small ways I’m going to fight back and would appreciate other ways to resist.

Tribal Nations across the country are resisting ICE.

The fact that Native Americans are being detained by ICE and are having to resist shows that this was never about ICE targeting criminals.

ICE is detaining Native Americans in Minnesota. They claim they are only going after violent criminals. In reality, they are going after people of color — including those whose ancestors were here long before America even existed.

3 Members of Congress tried to go in and use their power of oversight to check the conditions of an ICE facility, and shortly upon entering they were removed citing a new policy by Kristi Noem.

The White House wants to inflame tensions because they want to capture footage for their propaganda videos.

Their goal? They don’t want us to have empathy for each other.

I’m heartbroken, afraid, and angry not only for Renee’s community and the city of Minneapolis but also what this means for our country going forward.

So about last night… Democrats continued their trend of over-performing in elections!

2026 will be a consequential election (yes Congress but also school board and city council), so let’s all make the commitment to get involved next year!

Lead with empathy. Help our neighbors. Imagine how much greater our country would be if policies were passed from a place of empathy rather than selfishness.

What happens in Tarrant County doesn’t stay in Tarrant County.

The Tarrant County Commissioners court started their redistricting process in April 2025 – months before the Texas redistricting fight began.

It’s important that we elect pro-democracy candidates up and DOWN the ballot in 2026.

In the latest kidnappings, it turns out that a majority of people kidnapped are not violent criminals and have NO criminal records.

Immigrants are people. They make our communities stronger, so we all need to be calling out the Trump Administration’s dangerous rhetoric and actions.
